Tax Preparation Assistance
The tax preparation and filing assistance offered by the AARP Foundation has some changes this year. Because of limited space at library locations, the program will be held at the Monon Community Center instead of at the library. Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, all assistance is by appointment only. No walk-ins will be allowed. Appointments can be made by calling 317.689.8519. (When calling, please stay on the phone until you hear the AARP tax assistance recording. This will occur after you hear a main prompt and several rings.) For complete details about the AARP tax assistance service, click here.
A selection of federal tax forms is available at the Merchants' Square Main Library. The Indiana Department of Revenue is not providing printed tax forms this year.
