You will receive a notification when your hold is ready to pick up. Holds may show up in your online account before we have them processed for you to pick up, so it's important to wait for the email or text from the library before you stop by.
When you arrive at the West Branch:
Park in any parking spot at the front (Horseferry Rd) or side (Birdcage Walk) of the branch. Then text the word BOOK to 317.813.9802 to begin your pickup process.* Please have your library card number ready. (If you don’t have texting capabilities, call us at 317.605.4491 to arrange your pickup.) If you don't get a response shortly after texting the word BOOK, please call 317.814.3936 (at Merchants' Square) or 317.605.4491 (at West Branch).
For your safety and the safety of library staff, curbside holds pickup may be suspended temporarily due to severe weather. Please monitor the weather and call the library if you are uncertain if curbside holds may be paused due to weather.
